Coach Eric Wedgworth began coaching many of the girls in August of 2020. At that time, the girls were in the 3rd grade, with the exception of Aryss Wedgworth, who was in the second grade. Coach Chris Matlock joined the Lady Blackhawk's coaching staff in April of 2021. Currently, this 7th grade Lady Blawks team is ranked top 2029 team in the state of Colorado, often playing in the older 8th grade divisions in tournaments.
